But its sub-processors AWS and Google Cloud Platform are US companies subject to the CLOUD Act. AI processing goes through Anthropic (USA) or Mistral (FR). At Recapro, AI inference (transcription and summary) is 100% self-hosted in France on our own infrastructure: no third party sees the content of your meetings. With On-Premise, the entire processing chain runs inside your own infrastructure.

What are the real free plan limits at tl;dv?

Does tl;dv use my transcripts to train AI?
No. tl;dv explicitly states "No customer data is used to train the AI." Fragments sent to Anthropic are randomized to prevent reconstruction of full meetings. Recapro applies the same zero-training policy, and on-premise guarantees your audio never leaves your infrastructure.

Does tl;dv really work offline?
Partially. The mobile app can record offline but transcription and summarization require a server connection upon reconnection. For full offline mode (local smartphone transcription), Recapro is the only option.
