Meeting reports for Accounting Firms

Client review meetings, on-site audits, partner discussions: Recapro captures and structures every exchange without ever exposing it to the Cloud Act. Your clients’ data stays inside your firm.

client data on a US cloud

100%

on-premise or France-sovereign

The exchanges that carry the most value in a firm — the annual review, the audit meeting, the arbitration between partners — are today neither recorded, traced, nor exploited.

What

What exposes your firm

High-value exchanges are never captured

Annual reviews, financial statement presentations, on-site audits, file reviews between experts: everything relies on memory and scattered notes. The engagement knowledge lives nowhere.

Your meetings run through Microsoft Teams

As soon as a client call goes to video, the recording and transcript are shipped to Microsoft’s servers, a company under US law.

Data under professional secrecy is exposed

Tax filings, forecasts, payroll data, structuring, due diligence: all covered by professional secrecy, and none of it belongs on an extraterritorial cloud.

The Cloud Act, compliance blind spot

Storing data in Europe is not enough: US law overrides the technical measure. Microsoft admitted it under oath before the French Senate.

A firm that captures its review meetings and audits turns hours of lost memory into traceable, defensible files.

What Recapro delivers

The review meeting becomes a report

The accountant runs the meeting, Recapro produces a structured report — decisions, points of attention, advice given, actions — ready to file in the permanent file.

The audit meeting, traced

On-site or remote, every exchange with the audited management is captured and returned: findings, answers obtained, supporting documents requested. A trace for the working file.

100% on your side, out of the Cloud Act

France-sovereign cloud or on-premise server in the firm’s offices. AI transcription and summarization run on your infrastructure: no client data ever leaves.

The first brick out of Microsoft

Recapro replaces Teams recording with a capture you host. You regain control of both the data and the software, gradually freeing your firm from the ecosystem.

What Recapro handles concretely

We don’t replace the accountant. We capture and structure the exchanges that, today, vanish once the meeting is over.

Annual review meeting

Presenting the accounts to the director: Recapro captures the exchanges and produces the summary of decisions, advice given and upcoming deadlines.

Audit engagement meeting

Interviews with management, internal control reviews, statutory audit: every exchange becomes a usable trace for the working file.

Internal partner and staff meetings

File reviews, handovers, technical arbitration: knowledge no longer rests on a single person and is captured in writing.

Advisory meeting with the director

Cash flow, growth, succession, disposal: strategic advisory work is documented with no writing effort.

Who it’s for

If your firm handles confidential client data every day

Accounting firms

From the independent practice to the multi-office firm: make your engagement trail reliable and save time on every report.

Firms serving mid-caps and large companies

As soon as you handle strategic data — M&A, consolidation, due diligence — extraterritorial transfer becomes a business risk, not just a GDPR one.

Statutory auditors

Defensible traceability of audit exchanges strengthens your working file and secures your liability.

CLOUD ACT — CLIENT DATA AT RISK

The guarantee Microsoft cannot give you

Today, most of a firm’s client meetings are recorded and transcribed through Microsoft Teams. That data — accounts, forecasts, structuring, payroll — is hosted by a company under US law, and therefore subject to the Cloud Act.

« No, I cannot guarantee it. »
Anton Carniaux, Director of Public and Legal Affairs at Microsoft France, under oath before the French Senate inquiry committee on 10 June 2025 — when asked to guarantee that French citizens’ data would never be handed to US authorities.

The Cloud Act overrides data residency

This 2018 US law lets US authorities demand access to data held by any company under US jurisdiction — even when stored in Europe.

EU data residency does not protect you

Keeping data in Europe is a contractual guarantee, not a legal one: the US legal obligation overrides the technical measure, as Microsoft’s own technical director confirmed.

The risk rises with your mid-cap clients

For a firm serving large companies and mid-caps, an extraterritorial transfer of strategic data is a leak risk toward a competitor or a foreign authority.

Take back control of your clients’ data

Capture the value of your review meetings and audit engagements, without ever exposing a single file to the Cloud Act.
